Polyetheretherketon (PEEK)

The resin-grade for PEEK-material is Polyetheretherketon. This amorph or partialcrystalline high-performance material combines very good mechanical properties, with excellent chemical-resistancy and possesses a maximum on temperature-stability.

Key characteristics

  • hardly inflammable
  • extreme high temperature restistancy up to continous + 250 °C
  • excellent chemical and hydrolysis resistancy
  • high mechanical toughness and rigidity
  • excellent electrical insulation properties
  • good resistancy against strong energy rays (gamma- and x-rays)
  • approved regarding food-contact (FDA-approval)


Favoured applications in the medical- and food-industry.
